AOpen now announces the latest Blu-ray Disc BDR0412SA. It is a Blu-ray Disc drive with read BD-ROM, DVD-ROM, CD-ROM, CD-R/RW, DVD±R/RW, DVD ±R DL, and DVD-RAM format capability. It is a complete BD/DVD/CD access solution that allows you to access all optical disc types including High Definition movies with 1080P resolution!

High definition

Blu-ray Disc (BD) is an optical disc storage media format derived from the blue-violet laser with shorter wavelength. Blu-ray Disc was developed by the Blu-ray Disc Association, a group of several famous electronic companies. It has the same dimensions as a standard DVD or CD but can hold 25GB (single layer) and 50GB (dual layer). Therefore, its main uses are high-definition video and data storage.

One for all

AOpen's first Blu-ray Disc ROM, the BDR0412SA, can read Blu-ray Disc at 4X (17,844KB per sec.), DVD-ROM at 12X, DVD+/-R at 12X, DVD-RAM at 5X and CD at 32X. For greater transfer speed, it is built with 1.8MB buffer memory to ensure high speed data transfer rate and smooth HD movie playback quality.

Safe and easy

To keep your discs safe, AOpen BDR0412SA is equipped with Disc breakage protection and emergency eject hole. And for easy installation, it can be mounted in horizontal and vertical orientation.

Color options

To go with your stylish system, AOpen BDR0412SA has a black disc tray and ship with 3 interchangeable bezels (black, white, and sliver). You can change the bezel to match your system.
